Lea Larrieu is a young illustrator from France. She was born in the outskirts of Paris, in the town of Fontenay-aux-Roses. Lea studied art in two prestigious Paris art schools: \u00c9cole Estienne and \u00c9cole de Cond\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will present her most vivid\u00a0illustrations. And not only do we display her work but also the French Institute’s teachers will give lectures and organise languages workshops on drawing and art.<\/p>\n

Lea created her\u00a0first illustration when she was still studying. Now she\u00a0works as a graphic designer in Paris<\/strong> and collaborates with prestigious\u00a0publishing houses, advertising firms and PR agencies.<\/p>\n

Lea’s creations\u00a0portray animals<\/strong> in a multitude of activities and roles. Big and small, fluffy and bold. They talk, argue, have fun together. They are busy discovering\u00a0the world\u00a0with\u00a0no humans around!<\/p>\n

You’ll fall head over heels for her unique style<\/strong>: simple shapes, often in black and white, giving a lot of attention to\u00a0“facial”\u00a0expressions and not to\u00a0the smallest details\u00a0(these\u00a0could become distracting).<\/p>\n

Last but not least, in February 2017 Lea’s first book entitled\u00a0“What’s going on?”<\/em> is going to be published in France.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Needless to say Lea has a bright future ahead of her!<\/p>\n
