Eight research projects led between french and estonian teams have been selected by a jury composed of specialists from both countries. Those <strong>eight projects are being awarded funding during the period 2017\/2018<\/strong> to allow partner teams to carry out mobility between France and Estonia.<\/p>\n<p>\n Researchers and specialists involved in the PHC Parrot since its creation have been invited to a <strong>reception at the French Residence on December 12<\/strong>, in order to celebrate the closing of the 8th selection session, and <strong>more than 10 years of partnership in research between the two countries<\/strong>. The guests have been welcomed by the Ambassador of France in Estonia, Claudia Delmas-Scherer, the Councilor for Cultural Cooperation and Action, Anne Chounet-Cambas, and the scientific and academic attach\u00e9, Jordi Botella. Researchers were invited to share their opinions and experience on the program, and enjoy the specialties made on the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>\n Mrs Delmas-Scherer seized the opportunity to congratulate the projects leader and the members of the Estonian selection committee for their work over the years, and highlighted the <strong>excellence of the teams involved in the program<\/strong>, both in France and Estonia.<\/p>\n<p>\n Launched in 2003, the Parrot Programme has supported <strong>more than 50 projects in various fields<\/strong> such as medicine, biology, information technology and humanities.
