{"id":18517,"date":"2017-03-04T15:58:53","date_gmt":"2017-03-04T13:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ife.ee\/en\/?p=18517"},"modified":"2017-03-06T14:48:15","modified_gmt":"2017-03-06T12:48:15","slug":"look-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.ife.ee\/en\/look-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"Photo exhibition &#8220;Look for the woman&#8221; #NaistEST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-18177\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ife.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/aude_720-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dev.ife.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/aude_720-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dev.ife.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/aude_720-600x398.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dev.ife.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/aude_720.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>On the occasion of the #naistEST campaign, the French Institute suggested to the Museum of Occupations an exhibition of works from the French photographer Nicole Miquel questioning the concept of femininity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The exhibition called &#8220;Look for the woman&#8221; will take place at the Museum of Occupations in Tallinn.\u00a0<\/strong>It opens on March 8th, the International Day of Women Rights. It is part of a trilogy, alongside an exhibition on the great Estonian feminist who once lived in Paris Marie Reisik, and one on feminist diplomacy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ahead of the exhibition, several free screenings of movies will take place at the cinema Artis:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday March 4 at 5pm: <strong>Violette<\/strong>, French biopic on Violette Leduc, a feminist writer who was a friend to Simone de Beauvoir<\/li>\n<li>Sunday March 5 at 5pm: <strong>La Belle Saison<\/strong> (&#8220;The nice season&#8221;), drama comedy on a love affair between two women, a farmer and a feminist teacher, in France during the 70&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Monday March 6 at 7pm: <strong>The Mountain Queen<\/strong> (Kurmanjan Datka), khirgiz blockbuster about the first woman in history of Central Asia who had the title of &#8220;Datka&#8221; (general) while being a queen.<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday March 7 at 7pm: <strong>Et maintenant, on va o\u00f9?<\/strong> (&#8220;And now, where do we go?&#8221;), a French-Libanese-Egyptian-Italian comedy taking place in a small Libanese village where women of both muslim and christian communities will try to avoid men killing each other<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All movies will be in French with Estonian + Russian subtitles, except the Khirgiz movie that will be subtitled in English.<\/p>\n<p>Then, for 2 months, debates and workshops are planned to take place at the Museum of Occupations (more info to be released soon).<\/p>\n<p>The whole #naistEST project is organized with our partners: the Museum of Occupations, the NORDEN organization (Ministers council of Scandinavian countries), the NGO Feministeerium and the Estonian Institute of Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p>This project also takes place as part of the <a
