She became the beloved of two of the most powerful rulers of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century: Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and King Charles XIV John of Sweden. She was engaged to the former, then married to the latter, and she would go on to be the founder of the House of Bernadotte of Sweden (the current royal house of the country).<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">Not only does the musical display the intrigue and love affairs that go on between the different characters, it also depicts historical events through the glamorous life of the high-society and the daily life of the commoners.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">Starring Getter Jaani as D\u00e9sir\u00e9e, Artur Rassmann as Napoleon, and Bert Pringi as Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, futur king of Sweden. The cast includes other comedians such as Reet Paavel, Janika Sillamaa, and the troop of Kaarel Sillamaa, who is the writer of the libretto.
