One such exercise will be to write a story in 15 minutes! People often panic at this point, but participants are guaranteed to succeed! Along the weekend participants will be asked to complete tens of written exercises and will have to do some homework. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of the exercises are meant as practice to writing short stories for magazines, which is an important resource for authors in France. \u00a0Each week, dozens of children\u2019s magazines appear in newspaper stands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A small portion of the workshop will be dedicated to the practicalities of working as an author: contracts, copyright, royalties etc. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The workshop is in English and free for everyone.<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Please register at info@headread.ee.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>FAQ<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can I join in if I haven\u2019t published any book yet? <br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes, you are welcome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can I join in if I am an illustrator?<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if I write but cannot draw?<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That is not a problem either.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can I join in even if I\u2019m not that young anymore? <br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We can learn new skills at any given age. Besides, there are many late bloomers in literature. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if I write something interesting during the course?<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All the better!
