For its XXXIth edition, the P\u00e4rnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival offers a beautiful selections of movies shot by French and French-speaking directors, from July 3rd to 16th. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The theme of the festival is the “art of living” and the organizers chose two quotes to symbolize the festival’s state of mind: “If a farmer ploughing a field looks over his shoulder to admire his straight groove, he is an artist<\/em>\u201c said by the French impressionist painter Auguste Renoir and,\u00a0“The longer you are a child the longer you are an artist”\u00a0<\/em>said by the Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi.<\/p>\n

The art of living or the art of survival? The festival will try to answer with the selected documentaries.<\/strong>
