In 2016, after British and US elections shaken by “fake news”, the Oxford Dictionary picked “post-truth” as the word of the year, which it defined by “circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Where does this concept come from? Why such a paradox in an era of information and\u00a0big data? What impacts on our societies? Can fake news be regulated?<\/em><\/p>\n
