The film stars\u00a0Patrick Huard\u00a0as Steve Guibord, an independent, moderate\u00a0Member of Parliament\u00a0from northern\u00a0Quebec, who unexpectedly finds himself in the position of becoming the tie-breaking voter on whether Canada will go to\u00a0war\u00a0in the\u00a0Middle East. Guibord’s confusion and eventual national tour is documented by Souverain (Irdens Exantus), his Haitian immigrant\u00a0intern, who often calls his mother with updates on the ever-increasing situation.<\/p>\n
