You wish to collaborate with France? The High Level Scientific Stays (SSHN) program offers any PhD students, junior or senior researchers affiliated to an Estonian university a stay in a research laboratory in France, for a period of between 15 and 30 days. <strong>Projects will be judged on their quality and their interest for bilateral cooperation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Being a SSHN laureate grants you :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A net monthly allowance of \u20ac2 055 for senior researchers or \u20ac1 704 for young researchers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>An access to accommodation in a hotel residence<\/strong> worth \u20ac1,700 per month, offered to winners <strong>at a preferential rate of \u20ac19.33 per night<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Eventually a free flight ticket, depending on the number of candidates selected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Scientific priorities<\/h4>\n<p>The SSHN call is open to all scientific disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the new strategic plan 2020-2022 of the French Embassy in Estonia, and with the aim to get closer to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDOs) established by the UN, <strong>projects related to sustainable development, the fight against global warming, energy, health, or engineering sciences will be privileged<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How do I apply?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The following documents should be sent to Th\u00e9odore Hervieux, Scientific and Academic Cooperation Attach\u00e9: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>theodore.hervieux [@] ife.ee<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The application form, containing the description of the scientific project, duly completed (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ife.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/sshn-formulaire-candidat_2020.doc\">downloadable here<\/a> in Word format).<\/li>\n<li>A CV (2 pages maximum).<\/li>\n<li>An invitation letter from the French host laboratory, specifying the dates of the desired stay (which must take place in 2020).<\/li>\n<li>A selection of a maximum of 5 publications (on free paper).<\/li>\n<li>A photocopy of your passport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions regarding the preparation of your application or the eligibility of your project, please do not hesitate to contact our cooperation attach\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Practical information and calendar<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to the health situation related to Covid-19, the call will be open continuously until November 17, 2020 midnight: <strong>your application will be directly evaluated<\/strong>, guaranteeing a faster processing.<\/li>\n<li>Mobilities will take place and must be completed before December 31, 2020.
