Cl\u00e9ment Beaune, the Minister for European Union Affairs of France, will present the vision of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2022 at a public seminar. The seminar takes place at Tallinn University on 4 September at 12.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

M\u00e4rt Volmer<\/strong>, Estonia’s Undersecretary for European Affairs, will join Minister Cl\u00e9ment Beaune in the discussion on the presidency. The whole discussion of the seminar will be held in English.<\/p>\n

A limited number of Tallinn University employees and students can physically participate in the event. All interested can register here<\/a><\/strong>. There is a field in the form for questions as well. In addition, the public seminar is open to all interested parties, as it will be broadcast via Zoom. The link to participate online is here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The public seminar “France’s political vision of the European Union in the context of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2022” will take place on 4 September at 12 in the Mare building of Tallinn University, room M-648.<\/p>\n

Biography <\/h4>\n

Cl\u00e9ment Beaune is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and of the Bruges College of Europe (\u201cMontesquieu\u201d year). He is an alumnus of the French National School of Public Administration (ENA) (\u201cWilly Brandt\u201d year).<\/em><\/p>\n

After leaving ENA in 2009, Cl\u00e9ment Beaune joined the Budget Directorate, as Deputy Head of the Finance Acts Bureau.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2011, he became Deputy Head of the Research and Higher Education Bureau.<\/em><\/p>\n

From 2013 to 2014, Cl\u00e9ment Beaune was a technical adviser (budget) to the Prime Minister.<\/em><\/p>\n

From 2014 to 2016, he was European, International and Budgetary Affairs Adviser to the Minister of the Economy, Industry and the Digital Sector.<\/em><\/p>\n

From 2016 to 2017, he was Deputy CEO of ADP Management.<\/em><\/p>\n

From 2017 to 2020, Cl\u00e9ment Beaune was a Special Adviser within the Diplomatic Unit of the Presidency of the Republic.<\/em><\/p>\n

On July 26, 2020, he was appointed Secretary of State for European Affairs to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in the Jean Castex government.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
