Are you interested in developing scientific cooperation with France? The <\/span><b>High-Level Scientific Stay Programme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> offers PhD candidates, early-career researchers and established researchers affiliated with an Estonian higher education institution or research organisation the opportunity to undertake a <\/span><b>15-day research stay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in a French laboratory. Applications will be assessed on the basis of their scientific quality and their potential to strengthen bilateral scientific cooperation between France and Estonia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The programme is open to researchers affiliated with an Estonian higher education institution or research organisation belonging to one of the following categories:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Early-career researchers:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and researchers who obtained their PhD no more than five years before the date of their arrival in France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Established researchers:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Researchers who obtained their PhD more than five years before the date of their arrival in France and who have a recognised record of scientific achievement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Applicants must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">be affiliated with an Estonian higher education institution or research organisation at the time of application;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">have identified a host laboratory, university or research organisation in France;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">submit a mobility project related to their research activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Scientific Fields<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The programme is open to all scientific disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Projects in <\/span><b>STEM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) will be given priority under this call for applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Grant<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The programme provides:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">one round-trip airfare between Estonia and France;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a tax-free lump-sum allowance of:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>\u20ac925<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for early-career researchers;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>\u20ac1,027<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for established researchers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This allowance is intended to contribute towards living expenses in France, including accommodation, meals, local transportation and other mobility-related costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Duration of the Stay<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The research stay will last <\/span><b>15 consecutive days<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All stays must take place during <\/span><b>2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and be completed <\/span><b>no later than 31 December 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Application Timeline<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The call for applications is open on a rolling basis until <\/span><b>30 September 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
