Come join us! The competition received over a hundred photos and the best ten art workds will be on display at the exhibition in the atrium of Viru Keskus until end of June.<\/p>\n<p>For the centennial anniversary of <span style=\"color: #008ac9;\">Roland Barthes<\/span>,\u00a0a major French thinker and semiotician, the French Institute invites you to read again his famous quotes and take a photo\u00a0inspired by one of them. Barthes\u00a0is the author of\u00a0&#8220;Camera lucida&#8221;, a book about his reflection\u00a0on photography, and it became the most cited text on photography. This time we are not only\u00a0searching <span style=\"color: #008ac9;\"><a style=\"color: #008ac9;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Pleasure_of_the_Text\" target=\"_blank\">pleasure of text<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0but also\u00a0looking for\u00a0beauty and pleasure\u00a0of images!<\/p>\n<p>To take part in the&#8221;Barthes Vision&#8221; photo contest send your photograph to <strong><span style=\"color: #008ac9;\"><a style=\"color: #008ac9;\" href=\"mailto:barthesvision@www.ife.ee\">barthesvision@www.ife.ee<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong> (JPEG format, minium\u00a0size 1 MB). The photo\u00a0has to be\u00a0an illustration of the quote, but\u00a0there is no need\u00a0to\u00a0write the quote on your picture.
