{"id":7841,"date":"2016-02-05T12:12:38","date_gmt":"2016-02-05T10:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ife.ee\/?p=7841"},"modified":"2016-03-22T10:08:43","modified_gmt":"2016-03-22T08:08:43","slug":"francophonieparty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.ife.ee\/en\/francophonieparty\/","title":{"rendered":"Festival of Francophonie in Estonia 9-22 March 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ife.ee\/en\/8609-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Swiss and Luxembourgish films <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Festival of Francophonie will take place in Estonia <strong>9-22\u00a0March 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>March is internationally celebrated as the month of <em>Francophonie. <\/em>It is a unique opportunity to celebrate\u00a0the French\u00a0language and the richness of French\u00a0culture.<\/p>\n<p>Exciting events will take place in Tallinn, Tartu, P\u00e4rnu and Haapsalu.\u00a0Check out below the detailed programme of events.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008ac9;\"><strong>IN TALLINN:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Youth Literature, 9 and 10 March. French illustrator <span style=\"color: #008ac9;\"><a style=\"color: #008ac9;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ife.ee\/en\/french-illustrator-olivier-tallec-in-estonia-for-the-francophonie-festival\/\" target=\"_blank\">Olivier Tallec<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>will visit us. He is renowned for both his work with the press (Lib\u00e9ration, Le Monde, Elle, etc\u2026) \u00a0and for publishing over a hundred Youth books. He will meet\u00a0the public in Tallinn, accompanied by Indrek koff, March 9, 4pm at the Youth literature Center.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Painting exhibition, from 11 March onwards <\/strong>at the\u00a0Adamson-Eric museum:<strong><em> \u201cCities of light, Estonian painters and European megalopolis\u201d.<\/em><\/strong> The exhibition will focus on Paris as a major source of inspiration for Estonian painters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Family Day, 12 March, 12-4 pm, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ife.ee\/en\/francophonie-party-fun-and-food-for-all\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #008ac9;\">\u00ab F\u00eate de la Francophonie \u00bb<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, at Tallinn 32nd High School (Tallinna 32. Keskkool), this\u00a0free\u00a0fair, open to everyone, will be the highlight of the celebrations. Have a go at Hockey, Africarythmic, French Karaoke, photobooth and face painting\u2026 ! Not to mention the food stalls and the prizes to win !<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conference, 14 March, 10 am: <\/strong>a public lecture in French,\u00a0&#8220;La Diversit\u00e9 cr\u00e9ative: une richesse \u00e0 partager&#8221;, given by Charles Vallerand (Canada).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Canadian cinema, 16 March, 6pm<\/strong>free screening of the canadian film \u00ab\u00a0La passion d\u2019Augustine\u201d, Artis cinema.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swiss cinema<\/strong>: <strong>17<\/strong> <strong>March (6pm) \u00a0and March 18 (2pm) <\/strong>discover Swiss and Luxembourgish\u00a0films at the French Institute.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Music and Dance, 19 March. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ife.ee\/en\/8611-2\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #008ac9;\"> Tantsulaager special edition at NO99<\/span> <\/a><\/strong>: dance and party to French music!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gastronomy : 21 March<\/strong> with the event \u201cGo\u00fbt de France\/GoodFrance\u201d : 13 estonian restaurants will offer a menu \u201c\u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise\u201d.
