For the 7th consecutive year, Universal Biotech launches the call for proposal to valorise the most<\/p>\n
innovative projects in the healthcare industry. The Innovation Prize awards young start-ups (< 8 <\/p>\n
years) and academic research groups working on projects concerning drugs, medical devices, <\/p>\n
medical technologies and e-health solutions.<\/p>\n
Since, this event has become a reference in stimulating innovation in the field of Life Sciences<\/p>\n
worldwide.<\/p>\n
The prize benefits from the support of public organizations (National Research Agency, Institute<\/p>\n
Pasteur), the biotech industry (Ipsen), and pharmaceutical laboratories (Servier, GlaxoSmithKline, <\/p>\n
Mayoly Spindler, Sanofi)<\/p>\n
Last year, they welcomed more than 200 applications from more than 30 countries. Two laureates <\/p>\n
were rewarded each with the overall prize of \u20ac30 000, including cash and consulting services<\/p>\n
provided by Universal Biotech and its partners.<\/p>\n
Through their adapted \u2018Open Innovation Management\u2019 platform, participants are able to easily <\/p>\n
submit their project until April 22. Thereafter, the Jury will evaluate the projects submitted and <\/p>\n
select the semi-finalists and finalists.<\/p>\n
The laureates\u2019 rewarding ceremony will take place during the Innovation Days 2015, October 5. <\/p>\n
This event brings together public and private actors of the life sciences industry to maximize <\/p>\n
business opportunities during two days of high level conferences and one-on-one partnering <\/p>\n
meetings.<\/p>\n
