Thanks to your skills and your commitment within the press service, you will contribute to the monitoring of Estonian news, to the Embassy\u2019s communication policy, to the promotion of its activities and French-Estonian relations, as well as the development of the Embassy\u2019s audience online and on social networks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The position is a replacement of an agent during a long-term leave, of at least 1 year and a half (and until the latter\u2019s return).<\/p>\n

The position<\/strong><\/p>\n

As press attach\u00e9, you will be part of a team of 3 persons, made up of a translator, a French trainee and yourself, and will be placed under the direct supervision of the First Counselor at the Embassy. You will work in close collaboration with the different Departments of the Embassy and its external interlocutors.<\/p>\n

Main tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Media monitoring: press and social networks, information of the political chancery on Estonian news;

\n\u2022 Press briefings and daily news summaries for the ambassador and his team;

\n\u2022 Preparation of notes;

\n\u2022 Maintain and develop the contacts of the press service in the media field;

\n\u2022 Communication activities (Embassy work, organized events, visits by authorities, etc.)

\n\u2022 Response to press requests (for interviews, press aspect of official visits, etc.)

\n\u2022 Manage the Embassy\u2019s website and social networks and develop their audience, ensure the quality of their content;

\n\u2022 Develop the visibility of the embassy, its activities, and its communication capacities.<\/p>\n

Required skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Fluent spoken Estonian and English (C1), and advanced level in writing in these two languages.

\nIdeally a good level in French is sought after and would be a real plus.

\n\u2022 Good written and oral expression skills;

\n\u2022 Good general culture, knowledge of the Estonian institutional environment, interest in political and diplomatic issues;

\n\u2022 Knowledge of the media landscape;

\n\u2022 Skills in new methods of communication and handling of social networks;

\n\u2022 Understanding of the environment linked to a diplomatic mission (professionalism, discretion)

\n\u2022 Dynamism, flexibility, responsiveness, efficiency<\/p>\n
