“Eating well, eating healthy”

“Eating well, eating healthy”

This project is based on the FrancoKlikk‘s agenda, and supported by the French Institute of Estonia. It involves enhancing the work done in the preschools – and with children in general – about “healthy food” and about the consumption of vegetables, in all their tastes, colours and shapes. The Bonduelle Fondation aims at promoting those topics, and the project enjoys the excellent image of the brand in Estonia.

Several professionals (artists, cooks, teachers…) will conduct some fun workshops to make vegetables more concrete and more appealing. For example, touching them, drawing them, smelling them…

Last week, French cook Bertrand Horreaux was in two preschools of Haapsalu, and conveyed his gastronomic passion of vegetables to the children. Children also drew about the place of vegetables in their everyday life. Workshops will take place in May, where children will be able to use felt to create vegetables.

“Les Petits Francophones” of Tallinn have also written some nice texts about vegetables.

Many partners, as the Bonduelle Fondation, the city of Haapsalu and the French Institute enabled the project to be completed successfully, thanks to funding and provision of premises, persons and equipment.

The progress of this work will be regularly posted on the website: https://hfulegumes.wordpress.com/

Several workshops are planned in three preschools of Haapsalu, on the 18th, 19th and 20th of April, and in the “Meme Musi” Preschool of Tallinn on the 21th of April.
