The Actrices exhibit pays tribute to photographer Kate Barry from the 14th September to the 16th October 2017 at the Vaba Lava center in Tallinn.
This tribute is being paid to Kate Barry, daughter of actress and singer Jane Birkin and composer John Barry. This talented photographer prematurely left us in December 2013. Twenty-five portraits of great beauty will be exhibited, capturing each actress in portraits of what can be perceived as infinite, undefinable. This exhibit pays a mirrored tribute to both Kate Barry and the movie stars she portrays, ranging from the most renowned to a young generation of artists.
This exhibit has been produced by the Institut français under the commissionership of photographer and journalist Aline Arlettaz in partnership with Roman de Kermadec, Kate Barry’s son.
