The Erasmus + program is an European Union programme for the exchange of students and staff between european higher education institutions. Established in 2014 and following up the Erasmus program, Erasmus + allows each year more than 270,000 students to carry out university exchange throughout Europe and the world.

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, French and Estonian universities have developed numerous bilateral agreements in order to enable students to complete all or part of their studies in a partner institution.
