For the next Ciné-Club session, we’re screening the cult comedy La Cité de la peur by Alain Berbérian. This iconic French film from the comedy group Les Nuls mixes absurd humour, crime parody, and unforgettable lines that became part of pop culture.
Synopsis:
During the Cannes Film Festival, the screenings of a low-budget horror movie are disrupted by a string of mysterious murders. A press agent, a projectionist, and an awkward bodyguard, set out to investigate, leading to a whirlwind of absurdity and laughter.
The screening will take place on Thursday, October 30 at 6:30 PM, at the Institut Français d’Estonie, Kuninga 4, 10146 Tallinn.
The session will be followed by a friendly discussion in French with the audience. A great opportunity to (re)discover a cult comedy and practice the language in a relaxed setting.
