Concert of the French organist Edouard Oganessian at the Niguliste Church

On the programme:
Walther, Bach-Marcello, Vivaldi

Edouard Oganessian is already well-known from the estonian public. He learnt to play the piano with Michaïl Voskressenski and the organ with Léonide Roysman at the Tchaïkovski Music Academy in Mocow. Despite the difference of these two instruments because of their particular sound and the technique they require, they both have made his success.
He gave several concerts in France, Russia and many other countries in Europe, especially in Germany and the Baltic countries. His interpretations of the sonatas for cello and piano of the composer Max Reger, recorded and released in 1998, have been said to be among the best of the german composer, according to the french specialised journalists.
