On September 29th, the French Institute in Estonia co-organized the kick-off event of the Digital Squads, a network of European think tanks that will advise the works of the European Commission and EU governments on their digital policies (read our article about that event).
As part of that event, a debate was held at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, about the lack of interactions between tech ecosystems and policy makers. Panelists were Mounir Mahjoubi (French Secretary of State for Digital Affairs), Clark Parsons (Berlin-based Internet Economy Foundation), Marie Ekeland (French Digital Council), Nele Leosk and Meelis Kitsing (Foresight Centre of the Estonian Parliament).
