EUCYS: European Union Contest for Young Scientists

Created in 1989, EUCYS (European Union Contest for Young Scientists) is a competition organized every year to allow young scientists from around the world to present their scientific project developed during the year. In 2017 EUCYS takes place in Tallinn from September 22 to 27.

Organized on the initiative of the European Commission, the contest gathers and rewards teams of young scientists aged 14 to 20 which have won the national competitions organized prior in their countries of origin. 42 countries are represented in this 2017 edition, for a total of 89 scientific projects from all disciplines.

Two french teams will be present during this edition in Tallinn. The 5 high-school graduates of the C.Génial contest (french competition) will present their projects in the fields of physics and environment during the exhibition.

The exhibition is open to the public on September 24 from 9:30 am to 17:00 and September 25 from 9:30 am to 16:30 at the Space X Event Center.
