The twelfth edition of the tARTuFF open-air movie festival will be held in Tartu from the 7th to the 12th of August. This festival celebrates all kinds of love through a selection of international films. According to the organisers, it is not all about seeing life through rose-coloured glasses – the quest for a soul mate also goes through dark and sinuous paths. You will have the chance to see new romantic films and homages to cult movies.
This year, two french movies are on the list: the latest comedy of the couple Guillaume Canet/ Marion Cotillard, “Rock’n’Roll”, about their everyday life turned upside down by Guillaume’s mid-life crisis at forty; and the classic “Léon” of Luc Besson that we always want to watch again and again because of the excellent actors Jean Reno and Natalie Portman!

Synopsis:
Guillaume Canet, 43, has everything to be happy in his life… Nevertheless, during the shooting of a film, a pretty twenty-year-old actress stops him in his tracks. She tells him that he is not really “rock”, that he may never has been, and that he is now at the bottom of the list of the actors girls would like to have sex with… His life with Marion, his son, his country house, his horses… everything makes him look like a museum piece, not sexy at all.
