The Nantes International Program offers a one-year course in French and prepares students to enter a college of art, design, communications or architecture. It is open to foreign students wishing to prepare the entrance examination for a college where they can study for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
If you are international student and wish to study Art, Design, Communication, or Architecture in France, this is what this program will provide for you:
- a one-year immersion in the French language with a final certificate issued by the University of Nantes;
- visits to major art collections and cultural events in France and Europe (Venice Biennale Lyon Biennale, documenta Kassel…);
- specific preparation for entrance exams to colleges of art, design, communications or architecture.
The classes take place at the University of Nantes (IRFFLE) and at the Nantes Métropole school of art. At the end of the course, you will be able to enter the college of your choice, if you fulfil its entry requirements (level of French and quality of your art works).
