5 Nantes schools offering high-quality courses in art, architecture, communication, design, dance and music have joined forces for this international programme and are offering a common teaching core: École supérieure des beaux-arts de Nantes Métropole, École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Nantes, L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique, SciencesCom (Audencia group) , École de la communication et des médias.
Outside the Nantes region, 3 European schools are also partners: The Higher National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, The School of Art and Design in Geneva and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. This network offers the ideal environment in which to study for and pass the competitive entrance examinations and equivalence tests
how to apply?
Pre-requisites
- Examination Preparation Course: baccalaureate level
- Diploma courses: BA or Master’s level
- Recommended level of French: A2 or B1. A1 accepted.
Application file
The application file, translated into French, is made up of the following documents (one pdf per document):
- Copy of passport or identity card
- CV setting out the applicant’s experience to date and contact details (contact, date of birth, etc.)
- Cover letter (in French)
- Copies of diplomas or certificates obtained by the applicant, with a translation into French.
- Portfolio of the applicant’s artistic work (minimum 5 pages).
- TCF, DELF, DALF certificate (proof of level of French). You can pass your DELF/DALF test at the French Institute in Estonia.

key dates and tuition fees
14 November 2016: start of the call for applications and online registration
15 February 2017: application deadline
16 February-15 March 2017: applicants shortlisted on the basis of their file and a videoconference interview
15 April 2017: admission results and pre-registrations
October 2017: courses start
Annual tuition fees: 4800.00€ comprising registration fees, lessons in French as a Foreign Language, Art and Culture lessons and the study period in France and Europe.
Possibility of grants based on criteria of excellence.
