Opening of the exhibition “Walks alongside borders”

Opening of the exhibition “Walks alongside borders”
Photography Museum

The French Institute and the Goethe Institute have presented their photography exhibition on October 19  at the Photography Museum in Tallinn. The project is implemented with the support of Narva Art Residency. Around 100 visitors have seen the photographs, which will be exhibited in the Museum till December, 15.

“Walks alongside borders” is a result of one month intensive work of Camille Laurelli, a photograph from France and Louisa Marie Summer, a German photograph, who captured cultural, social, political and psychological barriers in the context of urban daily life in Tallinn and Narva. Their artworks will raise questions about integration/exclusion, whether visible or invisible.

The exhibition was officially opened by the French Ambassador to Estonia Claudia Delmas-Scherer, director of Goethe Institute Eva Marquardt, director of French Institute Anne Chounet-Cambas and the director of Tallinn Photo Museum .
