On the 27 September in the Narva Art Residency a famous german photographer Louisa Marie Summer and a conceptual artist Camille Laurelli from France presented to the public the first works relating to the photography project “Walks alongside borders” launched by The French Institute and the Goethe Institute. Both photographers spent around two weeks in Narva city, capturing everyday life and visited the Russian city Jaanilinn, situated right across the border.

The presentation has been opened by the Ambassador of Germany in Estonia Christoph Eichhorn, director of Goethe Institute Eva Marquardt, director of French Institute Anne Chounet-Cambas and Narva vice-mayor Vjatseslav Konovalov.
