Cinema, sound and musical creation have complex and rich relations. The French Institute and ‘The Week Of Sound’ invite professionals, students in cinema but also amateurs to create a video from an original sound creation (which lasts 1 minute and 30 seconds) recorded by film score composers Greco Casadesus and Grégory Cotti.
The contest, open until september 10th 2017, is promoted internationally by the French Institute et has the support of the CNC, the French National Center for Cinematography and the moving pictures and the UCMF (Union for Film Music Composers).

3 prices will reward the best videos:
- The Jury Price for best directing
- The ’French institute Price’ for the best animated short
- The Audience Price
The winners will receive their price during a special ceremony at the fifteenth edition of the Week of Sound 2018.
