Toi-toi, Moi-moi Juggling and dance performance for the whole family

Two young ladies unexpectedly meet face to face on the street. Strange coming together sincebisou-balle-eng they look perfectly the same. Not easy to accept this equality even more when their space is confined to an area under an umbrella. How to cope with this new challenge and keep the show on? Guided by their own movement, they have to juggle with their common difficulties and finally find their way to an own balance.

Merle Freund – Circus artist (juggling, dance, pair acrobatic)
Once fascinated by clownery and object manipulation Merle Freund found her way from Germany to Finland. After three years of professional studies at Salpaus circus school of Lahti in Finland, Merle started her career during spring 2015 in the biggest traditionnel circus of Finland, Sirkus Finlandia, presenting now her comedy-pairacrobatic duo act, Two too late, with her partenaire Anni Pietala. At the end of the season, Merle went back to Germany where she continues to work on her juggling and clownery solos numbers. She is part of several other professional projects

in collaboration with estonian, finnish and french artists: The freedom prison, By tractor from town and Toi-toi, Moi-moi.

Amandine Doat – Dancer and circus artist (dance, juggling, singing, pair acrobatic)
Amandine Doat, a french artist, curious of adventure came all the way to Finland after her graduation in dance in the conservatory CNSMD of Lyon in 2011. She did a bachelor in Dramaturgy at the university Lyon 2. She has been taking workshop with Fatu Traore, Tero Saarinen, Pierre Rigal and Jean-Claude Gallotta among others. Fascinated by multidisciplinary performances including circus, she entered in Lahti circus school in 2012. She worked on aerial acrobatic and juggling and graduated in 2015.

She founded and directs Cirque des Puces company in 2013 with Tomas Takolander. They created several performances for children supported by Konserttikeskus, ITU-hanke and Lahti kultturikeskus. Since spring 2016 they collaborate with a french theater company En Votre Compagnie and created a multidisciplinary (puppets, theater, dance, music and circus) performance named VISA.
