This course – taught in English – is to allow students to discover the profession of designer and pattern maker while creating and going through the different steps of making a mini collection of garments. The aim is to also give a better idea of careers in Fashion and Management positions in the Luxury trade and their importance in the world economy.
Classes and conferences are conducted by professionals from the Fashion and Luxury world, stylists (clothes and textiles) & pattern makers. The student will take part in workshops with practical, artistic and theoretical training.
Visits around Paris complete the program: visits to the Luxury district, the young designers area, Museums or temporary exhibitions, designer workshops or manufacturers…
